Description

TWISTER is an Innovative DIY (DO-IT-YOURSELF) based Educational Toy that allows young minds to have hands-on experience in making creative toys while learning the basic principle behind it. It has Mandala and Clock Pattern. One can color it using sketch pens and assemble the pieces while following the step-by-step instructions provided behind the box and spin it to play.

Principle of Twister(Spinning Top) – It’s designed to spin on its imaginary vertical axis, balancing on the tip due to the gyroscopic effect. Once it’s set into motion many forces act on it. Due to frictional force spinning top losses its energy (Angular Momentum) which results in gravity acting on it becomes more than the angular momentum hence it tips over and rolls on its side.

GAMES TO PLAY WITH TWISTER:

BATTLE BETWEEN FRIENDS –

Add a timer to the battle and note down the time of competitors one whose top spins the longest wins the game.

SPIN CHALLENGE –

Simply launch your spinning tops at the same time and see which one spins the longest.

BULLS EYE –

The goal is to launch your top and have it stop spinning while within a circle drawn on the ground. The closer you land to the center of the painted target; the more points you will receive.

BOWLING –

Place the obstacles on the floor and try to hit the target as many as possible by spinning the top. The more you hit targets more points you earn.

SCIENCE –

Test your spinning top on the different surface like glass, wooden, tiles, etc.. and note down the time. Smooth surface has less friction hence top spins longer on that surface.
